Bij Jazzdans staan ritme, coördinatie en expressie centraal. In deze lessenreeks leer je verschillende jazzdans technieken door middel van oefeningen en bewegingen op de grond, op de plaats en met flow door de studio. Elke periode is er een andere Jazzstijl aan de beurt : Modern Jazz, Afro Jazz, Urban Jazz en ShowJazz. Bij elke stijl wordt er middels diverse oefeningen aandacht besteed aan timing, frasering en dynamiek. Dit komt allemaal samen tot een choreografie op het einde van de les. Gedurende het jaar staan energieke, strakke en swingende dansbewegingen tegenover kalme, gecontroleerde en rustige. Echte show choreografieën naast prachtige modern jazz stukken. En het allerbelangrijkste natuurlijk, dansplezier staat altijd voorop!

Lesson Info: Lesimpressie video Jazzdans

Jazz dance focuses on rhythm, coordination and expression. In this class series you will learn various jazz dance techniques through exercises and movements on the floor, in place and while flowing through the studio. Each class period will focus on a different jazz style: Modern Jazz, Afro Jazz, Urban Jazz or Show Jazz. With each style, we pay attention to timing, phrasing and dynamics through various exercises. This all comes together into a choreography at the end of class. Throughout the year, energetic, tight and swinging dance movements are contrasted with calm, controlled and quiet ones. Real show choreography alongside beautiful modern jazz pieces. And most importantly of course, dance enjoyment is always paramount!
